In the latter half of 2008, MDP spent several months involved with the activities of BBFS-Sharklab in connection with the filming of a new

reality TV show to be shown on NBC during the summer of 2009. The show is titled "SHARK U" and follows the daily lives of Dr.

Samuel "Shark Doc" Gruber, his staff at the Bimini Biological Field Station - Sharklab, and a bevy of new volunteers looking to be schooled

in the ways of shark research. The personalities and lives of the BBFS team shines through as they work to conduct various shark biology

projects. MDP was hired by NBC to do the production still photography for the show, samples which can be seen in the gallery below.
