In June 2009, MDP visited the Bimini Biological Field Station - Sharklab (BBFS). Every year the BBFS conducts a survey of the juvenile lemon sharks in the Bimini Lagoon. This project is called PIT, after the passive integrated transponder tags implanted in the sharks. Below are images from the PIT 2009 census project.
